Teatergrillen

The cuisine of Teatergrillen is a match of French fine dining mixed with classical Swedish dishes. Teatergrillen is renowned for “Silvervagnen” the trolley that circles around the tables serving the finest entrecôte. Another dish that Teatergrillen is specialized at is the “Biff Rydberg”, an heritage from the Swedish roots. Its the best combination of beef and potatoes. Teatergrillen has been working for over 20 years to match these dishes that perfectly blends with the milieu, and are still searching for future classics.

Teatergrillen has had unchanged interiors since 1968, when the founder Tore Wretman commissioned his friend Yngve Gamlin to renew the profile of the restaurant. It was decorated in a simpler and less formal style than Riche´s dining room. The name Teatergrillen was chosen due to the proximity to Theater. The interior decoration also includes Venetian masks, marionettes and costume dummies.
